Covered Wagon is your premier family RV and Tent campground in Ottawa Lake, MI. We offer full-hookup services for your RV, all the way to quiet rustic camping.


Activities include: swimming in the pool or pond, mini-golf, jump pad, volleyball, gaga ball, horseshoes, Ice Cream, free wagon and train rides, and even fishing in our pond.


Whether you're camping close to home in Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Toledo, or if you're on an adventure from Cleveland or Columbus, your time at Covered Wagon Camp Resort will be filled with fun and relaxation.

Absolutely THE BEST CAMPGROUND WITHIN A 200 MILE RADIUS. Fenced in outdoor pool, pond, fishing. The staff is all family and it has been on the same family's name for 2 generations. It doesn't matter if one of the workers is off the clock and it 10pm at night they will help with whatever you could possibly need! Down home, old fashioned service THAT NO LONGER EXISTS except in a few rare instances such as this. 100% recommend! KOA has nothing on this place. Quiet, stress free destination if there ever was one.

Covered Wagon Camp Resort is only 10-15 minutes from Toledo, OH, 40 minutes from Ann Arbor, MI, and 60 minutes from Detroit, MI

“Do you offer RV sites with full hookups?”

Yes! We offer full hook-up, just electric and water, and even rustic camping. We have something for everyone.

“Is this campground family-friendly?”

Absolutely! We would love you to bring your family, friends, and Pets! We even have a pavilion you can rent for big events.

“Can I tent camp here?”

Yes! You can even tent camp on a site with electricity and running water.

"Can I visit for the day to swim?"
